Why Not? what makes CE better than Unreal on that aspect? If I remember well Bethesda softworks had like 100 employes when made Skyrim? Yes but to keep up with the competition they have to heavily invest in updating the tech of their engine, wouln't be just easier to switch to something more advanced and let others do that… -

your folio should definitely get your work in a non AAA place. And since on your first job you usually learn the most, you could then plan your move on to a better/bigger place. But non AAA doesn't necessarily mean bad or not rewarding. Just think how Telltale started a few years ago, and now they're a place with kickass… -

No-one is criticizing the people who worked on this, they are simply saying they needed more time. Given the current trend of broken games being released, consumer confidence is at a low, and if this continues the AAA bubble WILL burst. 1) VFX artists are always in demand. Film is what AAA aspires to be and a lot of games aspire to be AAA, so choosing film is your best choice career-wise.
