actually, the matcap isn't what's causing the moustache look. it's apparent with the new material too. it's because you've given her a step concave shape at the philtrum instead of a mild convex.

That's just about it for painting, unless anyone's got any suggestions. Next step, baking it off, then setting up final materials. Woohoo! As always, C & C most welcome...
Focus on getting the human anatomy and proportions down first. That would be a good first step in getting this to look realistic. Once you're finished doing that, you can tweak the proportions.
Okay, I think that I'm more or less done with the 3D small details pass, next step is to add some paintings and posters on the walls and then some general decals and grunge.
Thanks for the feedback!!! I had some of it in mind for future steps but I definitely need to tinker with the lighting. I'll incorporate it once I (eventually) get a chance to keep working on this :)
