I have a few textures to finish here and there but this is close to the final result. All critics are welcome, this will end up in my portfolio as my first UE4 project :) Oh and I will add an actual video to the laptop screen.

Are you talking about the lag when you move the mouse vs. what is shown on screen? I see you have other meshes in the scene. Does one of them have a ton of history that can be deleted?
thank you. ill give it a try. and post screen grabs if i have any issues. I think if i combine mesh in maya it will work similar to the way 3dsmax does just minus the modifier stack.
A friend of mine showed this to me, great idea although i still hate the fact you have the side of the screens cutting through the image, that would just annoy me :/ If they have frameless monitors then id get this.
I've given up on the HighRes screen shot option, it's always buggy, and it doesn't work with a bunch of features like SSR. The current lighting does match the concept much better. Looking forward to seeing more detail.
Unfortunately the post process stack isnt fully VR ready yet. I know some of the effects work but not all. I think AO and screen space reflections are still being worked on to support stereo rendering
Maybe make a few of the adverts on the wall some sort of TV/screen with some sort of interactive advertising? Looks like a solid start to me. EDIT: Seems I missed it's already on your todo. Ignore me.
You can create the pattern in a straight rectangular plane with many divisions then use a bend modifier (or twist) to conform it to a circular shape. Then screen shot or render it out and clean it up a bit. This would be using 3ds max.
I don't think they're selling this at a loss, if they were the kickstarter would end up on the negative. :P Actual phones have more hardware involved such as the screen, phone-part and battery which brings up the price.
