Figures. I went into the mod sdk and ive been studying different materials from crysis 2, most of the metal textures for example have really low fresnel scale (0.1-2.0),,, but can have relatively strong fresnel power (0-2). Thanks guys.
cheers man. it might even be possible to do it the way Mari does it? where instead of going on material ID you can offset UV's by +1 or +2 depending on the set. so like, the head would be in 0 - 1 space, the body would be 1 - 2 space.
diagonals usually need a lot more resolution to look just as nice as a straight piece. just because of the way diagonal pixellines with antialiasing work. so i would suggest you make it straight, a 2:1 or 1:2 texture possibly should do in this case
