Just wanted to post a WIP of my train environment, all the plants are stand in at the moment I still have to replace them with my own and there's a handful of missing textures but here's how it's coming together. :) -

thanks guys. good comments. will work on tree stump and blending items into the ground. I am also in the process of getting it into UDK, where I can replace that ugly fire with a nice particle effect. -

Yes, model is fine as it is now, but some nitpicking is really good to get better. Afterall, the devil is in the details. The VW emblem is modeled in high version, but i replaced it with shalow cilinder in low poly version. -

No find/replace in the stock tool though. I use Paul Hormis' renamer script instead... http://www.hyperent.com/TiM-Scripts-UI.html Naming along with selection sets/layers is the best organization for me. -

my game tried to give me a seizure, with all the textures popping out to be replaced by pure whiteness. Guess I have to tweak my settings. Guns sure were fun to shoot, though. -

Various Coatings on Metals in a Metalness UE4 Workflow
I've read through the PBR bible stickied here; it's fantastic and has helped a lot. The majority of my work, both at work and at home, is making weapons or vehicles, and as such I deal with a ton of different metals and their coatings, and I'm getting hung up on what is a "metal" and what is not. Hearthstone
Anyone else into Hearthstone at all? The iPad client is out and it's pretty much replaced reading before I fall asleep nowadays. If you play a guy that keeps running out of time halfway through it could be I feel asleep. jeffro#1330 if you want to beat me horribly.
