Jed, that's looking fantastic ! You are on a roll :) Is that achieved through clever use of regular Cycles nodes, or is it a OSL shader ? (I would assume that OSL might give more creative freedom ... but then of course, Cycles nodes being accelerated might be better for the end user) Regardless, can't wait to try it ! -

look up valves work ethics and how they run their production....very unorthodox...but it seems like they would give you the most potential creative freedom. Thats just my opinion. But seriously, check them out. Their studios in washington though if you can handle on the gloomy days and rain :) -

Pior: Of course, we all know that. I think Bilbana's point was that this plugin buys us a little more creative freedom within the confines of our pipelines, while renderhjs and Blaizer were talking down automatic UV generation in general, undeservedly dissing the tool and missing the point :P -

PokerOne Of course, the beast doesn't necessarily have to look like the typical monster. Wayfray Nope, the limit is pretty high to allow for a lot of freedom, but the complexity of the entry is not a judging factor. A very well made low poly entry has as much chance of winning as a very high end one. -

I think its a really bad thing whenever devs take away options or freedom from players, however, I must say that on COD4 I always play on servers with around max 20 players anyway. Dont know about LAN i sure hope LAN servers will work... lol -

The Phelps family is the unfortunate side affect of allowing constitutional freedoms to people that aren't smart enough to use it properly. They condemn good people for doing nothing wrong. They hurt the families of innocent people during their time of grieving, and they bring humanity down a notch. Nobody like that can… -

I was wondering, just how much freedom do you have in your respective companies, to use the programs you feel comfortable with? Most job listings Ive seen list max/maya as the requirement for (modeling)program knowledge but if you know alternative programs and your work is excellent, just how accomodating are most… -

I find the little lore there is to be fascinating and really love their concept.
