personally I'd make something different, if you just have 2 enviros in total. I don't necessarily thing in terms of diversity of the portfolio, but you also get the work with new design elements, have to do new research, etc. when making something different. There's just much more opportunity to learn with that than making… -

I agree, I don't really like this re-imagining of Mega Man, a lot is lost and I don't think that I would recognize him as Mega Man if you didn't mention it. Right now it feels like you need to spend some time defining all the shapes. Like the cape, the gloves etc. Decide which elements that might be better of being created… -

From what I've seen in all of the trailers, it seems as if they've done a good job of handling the cheesy, over-the-top element of the source material. The over-the-top stuff in comics and GNs usually doesn't translate very well… -

Good idea to break down your workflow steps like that. So this is basically your "blockout" stage, right? I would suggest making each main element of the chainsaw a different object, rather than modelling it all from a single mesh as you've done here. That means you can use each piece of the blockout as a starting point… -

Hi, I am not sure what was your intent but if you have any paint effect and you convert it to the curves Maya would transfer paint effect to curves. This red arrow means it's a group and in that group are curve elements of some certain paint effect. As I know you couldn't convert curves back to pain effect. I hope it helps… -
