I just took that to be a reference to a detail normal map like the epic guys, maybe with the lerp affected by camera distance? Do you think they meant something more than that?
Have you read the whole Battle Angel series. There's fucking tons, you know. Last Order is the newest I think, and Gally is fucking EPIC-HAX powerful at this point.

Thanks for the reply, ill check it out, but it is really annoying to use a third party software for every mesh, it's double the work time, hopefully a more alternative solution will on the way from epic.
Yes it has some awesome features, I will keep an eye on it to see where Epic is taking it. Before the single user license cost was around 1200 Euro/yr.
