What's the pressure levels on the companion 2? Theyr usually really upfront with that info so I'm surprised I can't find that anywhere. Also noticed the companion 2 is 1.7kg vs the sp3 at 800grams which might get quite heavy to hold on the move, though Iv never used a tablet so im only guessing based on the big difference.…
Let me throw in my humble opinions. If you look for the best sculpting tool, Zbrush is the way to go. I purchased it recently and while I have to admit that the workflow feels awkward first, it is way more powerful than Mudbox when it comes to sculpting. I have mudbox as a student version. And the painting tools are nice.…

They've already done something similar with the Decima Engine, the engine they chose to use, from Guerilla. No comparison, but another recreation https://twitter.com/HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN/status/808231751944257536/photo/1
Yeah, it's hard to say really. On a 400 tri model you can almost count them on screen and tell if it's 400 or 800. Seeing as how he said faces and the majority of the model is quads I just assumed it was quads. Either way my point still stands, even at 9000 tris I don't think it can be considered 'low poly'
I personally think a portfolio should be as simplistic as possible. It's good to separate it in different projects but I think you should just have big thumbnails instead of a slider. I didn't even realize you could click on the pictures to see the actual project until I read the comments here. I think you should get rid…
Yeah that's partly why I chose to go to Futurepoly after spending some time learning on my own. I don't want to spend $80,000 at one of the 4 year schools, especially when I can learn on my own and a degree isn't necessary and especially when nearly everything I hear about those $80,000 schools is bad. I see Futurepoly as…
Here is the solution... http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=80311 SEARCH the polycount forums next time! ALSO, you can set the texturegroup to "UI" rather than render target...I dont think it makes a difference, both work to enable full resolutions.
