Nice, I took a dab at Brood War when I was young and seeing starcraft remastered brought back a flood of unique nostalgia, especially with the retro style you guys modeled with. Pretty cool effect.
Hi Guys, finally I found the time for a new stylized asset  I always liked the shapes and colours of retro furniture. Follow the link for bigger images: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/x1WE1 Highpoly:
this looks pretty awesome lots of subtle retro aspects to it, and congrats on making a game :) just been at my first full game project myself, essentially im not sleeping, eating minimally and drinking coffee by the bucketload
Though the opinions presented are obviously biased, the point of the video seems to be to entertain, rather than to educate. In that regard, I would say it is a success. The animation and transitions were fun. The style was consistently retro-gaming themed.
Mayterials Day 25 - Retro: For today's prompt I decided to re-create a classic NES controller in Substance Designer. It was pretty straight forward to create, just lots and lots of shape layering.
Hmm something about this is rubbing me the wrong way.. the trailer feels really pretentious and emotional for being about a bunch of dudes making retro-platformers. It's as if they found the cure for cancer or something :p
Looks beautiful. I love a bit of quality retro action. Just scored a new job and part of the benefits is that they give you a free ipad. So will be picking this up once I have it.
Working on a sort of Retro-Fictional train car I created. Just need to bake out the tracks then onto texturing :) Lowpoly with Bake + AO; Lowpoly; Hipoly model; Thanks for stopping by, apple
Yeah i'd actually like to know how to fix this as well. Modo's painting makes my workflows easier most the time except when i have to do retro stuff at work.
I finished another package of particles on the weekend. I went for a retro/vector look for this package. [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT0oQis5WNw"]Vectormania! - Particles for Unity Engine - YouTube[/ame]
