Woot! I think this is a great idea. I had heard that nintendo was going to do something similar, but I'm thrilled that Microsoft is also allowing indies to develop for their console. I'm guessing that Sony will now have to do the same.
I like the look of this guy; nice work thus far. As far as the eyes go, I have just the thing: http://www.benjones.us/twilight-princess-eyes-breakdown/ It's a breakdown of Nintendo's method for eyes in Zelda.
I'd totally watch a speed run of legit play from start to finish. I was always fascinated when people would submit their fastest times to Nintendo Power back in the day. Are there any video links to it?
I've love to see MS and nintendo actually get together and sell a Wii60 combo with the words "cheaper than a PS3!" on the front of the box. What does PS mean again? Piss Shit? Phallic Shafting?
I was fucking skinny when I was a kid. I think... And, I got a nintendo when I was like 5, but I didn't know what it was, so I just watched my brother play it...
It's worth mentioning because they will release it for Xbox360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and most important.. PC!! The Resident Evil remake have always been a Nintendo exclusive. I haven't played it since I had a Gamecube, back in 2005.
The name alone sold me. Flashbang is really recreating my childhood with classic ideas; I mean try making a plumber killing mushroom people and saving princesses today(if your not nintendo) but these guys keep cranking them out.
got a gig working on super nintendo games back in the day so didn't bother with Uni and became a web designer for some reason. Working in the games industry has been on-off thing for me, but now running the show and happy.
I recall designs like that (i.e. detachable halves) being speculated about on Nintendo forums before the Revolution controller was first shown to the public (and before it was renamed to Wii) except it was about the motion sensors the Wii uses instead of a mouse.
Kid Icarus! How in the world has Nintendo NOT remade that game? Even if they weren't shot-for-shot translations, look at how successful Super Metroid and Metroid Prime have been. This is a no-brainer, the world needs high-poly Eggplant Wizards!
