     I wish there would be a way to export exr with cryptomatte. Readable by photoshop 3d-io plugin preferably. Would start using Zbrush and Photoshop again probably. Maybe they will do it in 20 years after countless useless tools. Or un-premultiplied render passes at least

     Another issue with mixing RGB and RGBA is that some compression formats sacrifice RGB quality to add the A channel. An RGBA texture will look worse than an RGB texture using PVRTC. Previous thread: https://polycount.com/discussion/161034/ios-pvrtc-compression-terribly-for-rgba

     we make mobile apps and mostly develop for apple ios so we make games on macs all the time, unity works on a mac as does udk and maya and cinema4d are fine, though I have heard some people have stability issues with maya.

     this is very cool, whats it like in terms of draw calls? is it more efficient to make games with more textures and less shaders or less textures and more shaders? I cant even use shaders most of the time when making ios games :(

     Box.net is currently giving away free 50gb to ios users... I haven't signed up yet.:poly136: edit: never mind, has some limitations.. 100mb file limit, no desktop app for free accounts. Still may be a decent option to host pictures or something.

     I've had a blast with it. Uncharted was fun. Replay value isn't high on it. Mutant Blobs is awesome. But it's basically an iOS game. Super StarDust HD looks amazing too. If it was Vita or iPad I would go iPad. But if you're looking in addition to that or hate iPads the Vita is great.

     OK, I'm going to make some of these improvements. Centering, etc. Working right now on integrating a HTML5 video player, one that works with iOS, phones, etc. Found a good one called video.js, for those who are interested. Pretty nice setup, easy to mod too.
