That being said, looks like they have no plans on discontinuing Max indeed, even so the old product would still be around until someone else stepped up and replaced them :) -

Although a broad term, 'next-gen' is the word to define this era in gaming. I agree it needs to be taken out to the woodshed and shot, but it'll be hard to replace it with something else, if anything at all. -

Thx to @Obscura, now I know using Linear Dodge on the vinyl material normal channel is causing my problem. Though I haven't figured out a good replacement for it yet. -

If it's the neowin patcher, that happened to me a few times as well. I've never had any such issues with just replacing the .dll though, so if you're allready doing that, i can't help. -

megawad = a full 32 levels replacing all of doom2's maps. I miss REAL episodic games, that last a good while and being replayable, i.e. 8-10 levels. -
