Hi, Here is a link for my recent character concepts, I would like to know if I can get a job as a concept artist with that kind of art? Also what are things I need to improve? Thanks! http://pavelmorr.deviantart.com/art/character-concept-art-489101027?ga_submit_new=10%253A1413589506
I really like you concept! I think there is someone trying to use your paint over as their concept. karytsukino might be worth looking at. He originally had your image in his post, but removed your art after the community mentioned you can not use other peoples concepts.
Looking good but currently you are having a mix of the original concept and the AC version... You have the proportions of the original FFVII concept but the clothing of the Advent Children version (and Crisis Core). @beccatherose's concept, really loved the piece so I wanted to try my hand at doing the asset, this is the highpoly. I hope I did the concept justice and there will definitely be more to come from this one, Crits are always welcome, thanks guys. Becca's Concept Link: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ezVoJ
Well, unless you were a concept designer, the chances are someones gonna give you something to work from. Then it's up to your interpretation how YOU take a concept and make it into something. At the end of the day thats what you will get paid for, how you take a concept and make it into something "real". ^^
@lotet - Yeah! Didn't the two of us enter in a concept art competition hosted by Sweden Game Awards? :) Japp, det var länge sedan! Jag hette samma som här, "kaktuzlime" :) New concept! Made for a card-game I'm toying with, and I gave the concept to be modelled by Shane Olson.
@Toku I think the things you are trying to make sense of in the concept are up for interpretation. As you can see not even star citizen stuck to the concept, probably because the things you said were not that functional. I'm just going to try fill in the gaps myself and try and match the feel of the concept.
I should mention, I'm only imagining using MD once I finally figure out a concept. I would be attempting to keep my draughstmanship skills and concept art skills in the same direction so my 3D is mostly just execution and dealing with the challneges towards executing on the concept.
Whew, i thought you where already texturing. Those handle bar looking things all over look a bit thicker and closer to the mesh i'd start looking at the shapes now, you got a great base to configure this thing to match the concept closer. I really like this, had i'd seen it 1st :) . (we want to make all things more or less…
