I liked the scarecrow idea, it's pretty neat! But I guess you can go further with details, try to add some cool stuff on the shoulderpad, and try to think about a hat (one that doesnt block the eyeball)!
Will also be throwing my hat in, mostly cause I need portfolio pieces and tutorship rather badly and this is as close as I can get right now :P, I have no girlfriend and aaaaaallll night to work on it, lol.
I like the design, but it's the "two-tone" outfit that bugs me a bit, especially at the front. It needs to be toned down a bit. On the back it looks better and more evenly placed. I'd remove the red part of the pants and on the hat.
Have completly missed your thread here on polycount! Love those lumpcreatures! especially those in the exoskeleton thingy. The first animation is awesome! : ) Really like the chick with the four sci-fi arms and the red dude with the hat ^^
Nah, I still think they're too short. Guys are about 7.5 heads tall, and after some quick measurements in Photoshop, it looks like your guy is about 6.5 (with the hat taken out of the measurements).
What do you think about hats (possibly weapons or anything else) which is upgrading when hero take levels during the game? in w-shop i see works like that. may be it will be interesting for competition?
are you one of them cynics vig? I am trying to think what your ideal polycounter would be. I am guessing someone who posts every day, never complains and wears a large hat.
Wow? A little bit of bitterness? That post was made in good fun (See the :D at the beginning of it). I don't think anything was offensive about it. Sorry I stepped up the game you thought you had in the bag. First off. You had you art posted gathering votes for weeks before I even got a chance to post mine. That's because…
Feanix: Great idea, I dont know why I didnt bake AO on them in the first place. That'll make em pop :poly124: As for the rain, I watched the Eat 3d cinematic video. http://eat3d.com/udk_cinematics (I only watched the elements that I needed to apply to my environment) And to make it look like the rain is rolling down the…
I had no idea I had so many replies on here. I have been working on this cart...A hand movable cart, for use moving these hay stacks around the field. Nope no references. This is probably my number one problem with my work flow. I never use references. I start my object, get an idea of what I want it to look like and just…
