What do you mean by low-poly exactly? DS/PSP/GP2X low poly? In that case you should even further optimize your mesh, as I can see a lot of wasted polygons (or better ones that will not be visible on such a tiny screen anyways).
http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1205062xmas1.html What the heck is going on, it's a kid and that's what they do. What did she expect he was excited, even though to me gameboy's are obsolete now compared to the other fancy stuff. Poor kid probably though it was a psp or Ds .
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is pulling off pretty good 3D posing as 2D in Unity. http://www.asteroidbase.com/devlog/4-two-and-a-half-ds/ [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwfRYGVADL0"]Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime | First Look Trailer - YouTube[/ame]
If you do want to try your hand at everything you might consider working on hand-held games. I think I've got pretty much every flavour of artist on my resume after a few years do DS and PSP games.
omg qube !!! how have you been man ?? great site btw, and I second the DS/psp/wii thing, you could do wonders there...I miss your skinning skills dude. I love your graphism gallery too
Hi, this is my first post on polycount. I textured this model for a school project. The model was created by Ryszard Klimczewski. I would appreciate any critiques you can give me.
try a quick model and texture w/ds specs in mind. try to make it as awesome looking as possible. finish it...be proud and do another. next thing you know...you'll have a couple of quick cool looking models. and you'll get the "finished" vibe going.
this is correct, yet also irrelevant to me here. topic is about 8 which is always compared to 7. and I'm still waiting for S-E to remake FF5 and especially 6/3 on DS like they did for 3/4 ...ughhh, would be so fucking awesome.
very cool DS stuff man :) Regarding the presentation, i agree that flickr is not the best place to post images. If u want some free site for that try myfolio.com - at least it is suited for portfolios even though it is not ideal and won't be better than your own website.
Yeah I have done some low poly DS spec work, it was odd because I had to use colours... I mean... COLOUR? Wheres all the rust! But it was fun to work with such limited restrictions :) May get some of that stuff up too :p
