Quick update, retopologized the armor as well as the pointy shell part on his back. Preparing the model for detailing. Still messing around with his face and arms/legs.
Looks like your UV is not that good laid out. Try research more on how to unwrap a mesh, in this case it should be unwrapped in a long strip of UV shells.
Thanks for the answer! I think the problem is what you said because i import the comands directly by dragging the button from the shell to the marking menu directly.
If the mesh is meant to be static, afaik, there is no reason not to harden shell border edges, as long as you're still using synced tangents. This should help reducing gradients/dithering.
I use an Intuos 3 9x12 at home and at work. It's a great tablet. I'd like a Cintiq but I'm not shelling out that kind of cash on a monitor anytime soon. ;-)
