      Sounds strange, but there's something about how the back of the revolver has rounded edges and blends into the grip which just looks satisfying to look at. Got be those bakes, your a legend anyway... Followed most of your work on here and various other forums, good as always!

      Overall good work, I would like to see more colors and ways to separate the pieces, cause now it all kinda blends together, also the red orb in the shield could be brighter and have more saturated colors looks a bit boring the way it is now.

      Awesome work! The art and audio really blending masterfully together in SOMA which made for an intense atmosphere in the game. It's great to see these characters well lit, as you mentioned, it is a dark game and we don't get a chance to see the detail on everything during our playthroughs.

      How about using a 3d procedural texture, and baking from your lowpoly rock geometry into a normal map? This way the noise has no seams, and it's converted into the proper normal map colors to match the rock's normals. Then you can blend it into the high-poly sculpt map.

      I really like the theory stuff in text, very helpful and insightful. Yes more of that please. One crit: You use Blend If a lot, but I don't think you explained how to do it. It'd be a help for newer users, since it's not really an upfront feature.

      There is no real magic bake methods when using organics really it is just masking and setting up multiple layers and blending them. I will however make sure we add a skin video to our list of videos that we would like to create. Great suggestion!

      @Doubleleaf, nice sword, love the hilt and centre of the blade! Did my first in-game test, looking ok, need to fix the rigging, alter a few things. I'm also thinking about changing the colour of the cape, the purple just blends into the rest of SD's skin.

      Keep your asset snapped to the grid and do U > Cube Projection. For more complex shapes with round parts you can use the Object texture coordinate with Box Mapping and adjust the Blend at 0.1, then bake a diffuse map: https://youtu.be/6mbo474uhOA?t=1m

      Blue font on blue background equal's eyes bleeding... If it hasn't already been mentioned, the pattern on the white is odd, do you have a reference image your working off from? Good work so far just pimp the new edited version soon .

      Never double up with serranos AND habaneros, Verm. I made that mistake once in a batch of salsa. Only I could eat it, and it was tough even for me. I think I ended up having to make another batch and blend the two, and it was still smokin' hot!
