Here's the latest render Jessica's talking about it's rendered in 3DS Max with 3 point lighting and a skylight I agree with her I kinda of got out of control with the rust because I was trying to break up some of the larger forms like the hood, at this point I think I'm gonna add some paint stripes on the hood to break it…
try take the critics form everyone serious but only if they are following the rules in this article; http://www.game-artist.net/forums/view.php?pg=constructivecrit And if someone(even if people working for a big company) try´s to put you into a bad light ( saying that you are a pedophile /racist/communist/terrorist/etc)…
That... is not low poly Lemi. It has way too many polygons. The idea is just try to set polygons that define the silhouette and that depends on what kind of game are your models for. For example, if this axe would be used in a first person game there would be needed more polygons than a model used in a third person camera…

Hmmmm I'm not sure about what type, but by the characteristic I wanted was more like a tundra plutonic or sedimentary rocks. I've collected a bunch of refs and was trying to follow technics I have seen in timelapse. I struggled a lot trying to get a rocky silhouette and understand how to use the common blender brushes for…

I definitely put too much foliage in the scene previously. Shabba sugested to remove some foliage to give the eye an area to rest, I did this in…
Hello Apologies if this is in the wrong area, however I am trying to model a aircraft fuselage. The rear of the aircraft is made of a wooden structure with a stretched fabric skin over the top. I am trying to recreate this surface but every attempt looks too solid and lumpy. AI find that I try changing the loops to match…
I tried to look into your files but I can't open your zbrush tool (you're probably using a newer version than me, i'm on 2021.7.1) So I tried some test using Akin Bilgic's files to generate a displacement map and render with arnold in 3ds max (I'm on max 2018...so whatever version of arnold that is) Truth be told, I don't…
Trying to gain more insight from the vets around here. I'm working on some standard props, a gas/water tank, pipes and other metal barriers but I'm having problems re-creating a realistic rust on the texture. I'm trying multiple techniques and I was wondering if anyone has any general tips for creating good rust. (even a…
