Thank you very much for your answer. Sadly, the link you provided does not allow me to download a map that is sufficiently accurate for my project. Regarding DEM or LIDAR data, do you know where I could find it?
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big proponent of indie dev, but these are some pretty weak indie games and I'm surprised people are buying them. Even indie games are becoming packaged up, commercialized, monopolized, and bought out of habit.
Coming along nicely thus far and I like your detailed workflow dev log which add's I think further info not always apparent with images alone, so I'll definitly follow along as you progress. Cheers.
These days, unless someone directly from the dev team states that x picture is in-game and running in realtime..I automatically assume any pics released as "promo shots"..or what you guys call bullshot :) To think otherwise would be naive.
bump. i need dem feedbacks. BTW, i launched a new portfolio: http://b-kaczmarek.weebly.com at the moment it's just thumbnails though. any idea on what may be causing the cut outline on right side of thumbnails? i'm a html noob.
*shrug* Just cause you like something doesn't mean it impresses recruiters. Do as you wish, But I'd recommend looking at portfolios of some Devs here and seeing how they layout their portfolios. Check out the similarities and then compare that with the difference to yours.
sorry i'm on cs3 aswell. mode ? tolerance ? imo, using the paint bucket tool isn't the right way to fill objects, because it slightly encroaches stuff around. I'm using layers with lock transparent pixels on, then fill it with alt+del.
If you try to rate it anything less than 5 stars, it doesn't record the review to the app and just has you send an email to the devs. To actually add a non 5 star review to the app, you have to go to the play store.
XChris: Thank you hehe let me know if you find anything :) Dev: Sorry I think this thread is a bit hard to read, the download with the ztools is already out - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/18-zbrush-sculpted-rock-brushes
I had a weird dream about this, the big reveal was that Polycount was making it's own game and forming a company, and all the admin's names were in red because they were official devs. it was weird, and I felt really left out for some reason.
