Cleaned up the runes after projecting them onto the blade UVs and did some polishing. Think I'm going to add in a bit of an energy effect that could pan across the blade. It took some additional setup to get the back faces to not render for the WoW-style weapon effect. Here's the couple of nodes that I had to plug in.

Hey all, looking for some feedback on this hand painted axe I've been working on... It's one in a set of hand painted weapons I'm making for my portfolio. The axe is using a single 1024x1024 texture.
(Updated pics further down the thread.) I wanted to make something that would fit the fallout universe. It has about 5000 tris and some more for weapons etc. Its a screengrab from the max viewport.
Imagine that the survivor decided to decorate the weapon himself. He used materials that are found on the street.For example-scattered newspapers. For final work i create my own texture of "newspaper" P.S.Skin for SCAR.
