This creature was recently discovered attacking the livestock in a remote village. It is believed to be from a nearby cave system. After claiming its first human victim, a hunting party has been formed to take it down.
Took me a while to get my head around action centers, the video will help you understand the system. Might want to turn down your volume first :poly121: [vv]9617753[/vv]
would drawing our the quads on the high poly mesh be a good alternative to get the the low poly? I'm guessing it would be, but things such as rail systems seem like wit would be a bit of a pain to do.
It is sad that gumroad does not have a rating system, multiple times i have spend money on something that i have regretted because of the lack of information. But I agree with you, there are some hidden gems there.
Substances work best, i've found, when you combine them with artwork. Feed in sculpt data, play with FX maps and generally feed it more information to work with than just procedural systems.
Yes. Nothing is better than when the designer/author of any science fiction actually takes the time to explain their systems, themes and techs. In my opinion its what separates fantasy and sci fi.
I noticed that Substance Painter2 seems to be slightly slower than the previous version on my system - not a huge difference, but it's definitely there. It would be great if you could upload your file for people to give it a spin.
I also enjoy world building, especially lighting/skies/fx. UDK is still around, and ships with a ton of assets. The landscape system is pretty easy to use too. UE4 has a bunch as well.
Blender still lags behind Silo in Tools, I have to say. The new Bmesh-system will allow for that to change fairly rapidly though, so let's hope we see improvements in that area soon!
I am planning to learn a blend shape based rig system . Like the snappers one . Not sure if I'll do that with this guy or with a new one . But soon in future I'll try to animate my faces .
