oh wow a lot to read there jacob thanks. I will look at the zip in there. So how can I tell in the future how many polies the LP should have in order to support the HPs normal? Do you know what I mean?
Hey guys. Firstly thank you everyone for your submissions, and I wanted to inform everyone that we've decided to move on with an applicant, and will no longer be taking submissions for the time being. If we're in need in the future we will be more then willing to reopen a thread here on polycount.
Nice, good tip MoP. I was playing with the projection thing before, but using it with the topology stuff gives it a lot more usefulness. I read somewhere that the verts not snapping thing is a known and that theyre planning on adding some kind of snapping support in the future.
spitty, thanks a lot... I was watching tutorials and instructor gave a short notion about the plugin which I have trouble to locate... If you don't mind, can you recommend good max plugin sites, for future reference? Thank you...
OMG, I had a nightmare last night that I washed both my PC Tshirts and the black one had been faded to greyish and the greentooth was all faded and splotchy. Was this a subconscious response to the quality of the shirt or the prophecy of my future years wearing it?
I think in Photoshop you're limited to doing it manually with the pen tool. Illustrator is more focused on creating vectors and it has a "rounded corners" effect. Not sure if that's what you need. Btw you should post questions like this in technical talk in the future.
I thought some of the animation looked a bit gummy and would've liked more dust/particles during the action sequences, but in general found it a quality production. Congrats to the teams involved, hope to see more stuff like this made using Blender in the future. :) *
man i cant take anymore of this, everything closes down lately, its not only this industry...just think of pontiac...WHAT will the future bring? i see mega-companys taking over world domination just like in some scifi stories :/
I LOVE this style, Rob G. One thing you might work on in the future is how these guys will look with in-game lighting. It seems like, right now, all the lighting is painted into the texture. That's not so bad, just something to experiment with going forward.
Man that's just amazing work... Mad props I hope to be at your level some day in the far far future. Please share any wires and texture sheets you can. I just want to see what the construction looked like.
