If you're worried about wasting the world's precious resources, there are lots of other things far more worthy of scorn. For example, those stupid cat ears that move around when you think about stuff. Or USB powered nerf launchers. Or .... hell, the list goes on and on. It's a toy. A gadget. It looks neat...
If we really wanted to take down shitheads like the LRA, we should never have shut down groups like Executive Outcomes and Sandline. They were extremely effective janjaweed-be-gone, and the powers that be squashed them for making the UN and African governments look just as nutless, incompetent, and corrupt as they really…
Thanks for the tip, i'll try to render my Vue scene with that. However, why do you say it's not good to use buildings, mountains and so on? The engine i'm currently using (Torque 3D) is not really powerful, so, i'm not sure if rendering actual meshes far-away would be a good option.
Day 5, did a sand substance this morning. I can post my graphs if anyone is interested too. @C22Dunbar - Thanks man! Yea it really is powerful, I just gotta get better at it. I'm having a lot of fun trying to figure out how to make the textures procedurally too.
I agree and disagree, well at least in my opinion :D . While I love the design of how he looks, I do agree he looks fat and chubby. That's something I plan on taking from OOT and making him look a bit more threatening and powerful appreciate it :D
Yeah, agree with ElysiumGX. I'm a hardcore Max user but I've recently been working with some people who use XSI and it seems equally powerful and more user friendly. Would probably be easier to learn from scratch than Max or Maya I think. Nice avatar too El.
I wouldn't be surprised if S-E found a way to make a game's action sequences consist completely of prerendered sequences. On the other hand they've been using less prerendered videos the more powerful the system is. But then again this game can't have been in development long enough for this to be actual game footage.
He walks up to the closet. Gets close up to the closet. Now he's at the closet. Now he's openning the closet. Those are some powerful lyrics. I especially like how every line ends with "closet." And when the guy was looking for him, why the hell did he look in the drawer?
Check the power adapter for the laptop. They usually list the input voltages it accepts. I have 2 Dell adapters here and they say Input: 100-240V AC. Manufacturers make the adapters universal so they only have to produce one model of adapter. Then they just ship the outlet cord needed for the region.
@MooseCommander - there is a visual improvement. but as with everything i do i'm sure there is a lot of room to optimize! @serial lens - i did not know that! i'll get that in asap =] edit: i'm assuming that since the mask is just one channel of a texture, i'd need to do power 2.2 for each other channel as well?
