My entry to Ubisoft Toronto NXT challenge. I`ll come back to this diorama now that i have time and actually make something more visually attractive turntable video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK1o8NJwtLw
I know you could handpaint normals before, but with the AO, cavity and all the other bells and whistles it seems like a really attractive alternative to sculpting now. Great job! Did this real quick all in PS + nDo2
my eyes, they burn.. my advice is don't wait for your dream team.. get going and use your progress to attract team members, cos a wall of searing white text isn't going to do much for you
Is it wrong to be more attracted to this game then Diablo 3? Don't get me wrong, they both look awesome, but I almost feel like I'll be taking a step backwards after playing torchlight, especially with a multiplayer edition coming.
Making solid progress i think... Really trying to focus on the face, make it more attractive. I'm really shooting for illustration quality for this, using it as an excuse for working on the rendering. I've tried to incorporate as much feedback as possible here.
Why not emulate the monthly noob challenge and offer a few different objects at the end of the week to pick for next weeks challenge? Since this should be attractive to everyone at every skill level, having the ability to choose may seem empowering.
Really cool stuff there plus I'm of the same sentiment, you seriously have to consider leveraging existing art showcase platforms that'll potentially attract AAA class eyeballs you've of a mind targeting for the next career move.
Your glabellar complex on the brow is lacking form, even with your current furrowed expression. He's reading more neanderthal than anything else. I'd really rework that brow and get it softened: make him look more attractive.
sketching the shoulder protection, something like a nymph and a tree, though for the next pass I'll use female reference because I fail to make her attractive going from imagination >_< And also she will have hairs later xD
Also note : the filters are optional. You can just post a pure picture if you want to! The attraction is the instantaneous nature of it, not how amazing the quality of the photograph is. If you cared about that, you wouldn't be using a smart phone to take the picture.
