I would love a challenge with anything from Chu, seriously, she has so much good stuff for a challenge like that. My favorite one for the challenge would be this: Ancient Relics I think it has the perfect mix of things going on to make a cool challenge.
For the new upcoming patch they changed all again... now we have "ancient legendaries", so time for moarrr grinding yeah! They want to keep hooked their players at all costs, insane. http://www.diablofans.com/news/48250-blizzcon-is-here-live-updates-for-the-diablo-panel
If you look at the example Nanite meshes that come in Epic made projects like the Valley of the Ancient they're not raw 1GB meshes. So the idea that using Nanite means you never reduce the polycount on meshes or do any kind of optimization isn't something that's practical. Even for non-realtime rendered projects (eg: film)…
Good! Never underestimate the ancient en noble art of modeling my friend. That's the path you want to choose. You might want to talk a bit with Skullbox who had a bad ass amount of wrist pains. He seemed he has recovered quite well.
Hey guys this is my first post here, and i am also going to work on a model for the blizzard contest. I'm doing one of the ancient of lore concepts from the warcraft art book. I'll post a image or something tomorrow after i work on it a bit longer.
Here is a scene from the first chapter of my book. The main character comes across an ancient bridge that has been broken down on a pathway in a snowy chasm. Im sorry about the image quality, i think I took the pic with my phone a while back.
I miss the old used market, the one where you'd look through dusty bins and find some ancient game that you never thought you'd find, those places are all mostly shut down, that's how I envision a positive used game market.
Here is my second submission! :) The Veiled Sang-Kau Created in the elder days of the Veiled Sisters, this ancient weapon displays the scars of countless enemies seen vanquished. Perfectly balanced and deadly of purpose, the Veiled Sang-Kau brings a swift end to victims chosen by the Phantom Assassin.
They look like they are there, the bounding box is extended. They might be hidden? Go into element mode and unhide all. Also I personally don't think you should be using edit mesh or editable mesh, they are ancient tools that where replaced by edit poly/editable poly long ago.
So.. ancient polar bears with dharma logos, and a grown up taller walt still point to a time bubble. Would also explain how people show up on the island that are already dead as well. It might also explain why they are telling the story the way they are doing as well..
