I really like the tunnel in UDK; I think if you could eventually get the reflections working, it would look fantastic. The marmoset render is nice, but make the scene look a bit too crisp. As for the new tunnel extension part, it's shaping up nicely, I just think the rust on the green parts of the wall still looks a bit… -

There's only one thing that makes me question the design. Her shirt and jeans show a lot of character in terms of being worn extensively, with that in mind, I cant imagine her sandals lasting long with such thin straps. I think to some extent the light from the lattern would diffuse into the fog (the only way youd really get beams like that in reality) and diffract round the framework of the lantern which would create a softer glow. But it is a stylistic thing unless youre going for total realism. I would say that the "beams" are perhaps… -

i would say 99% of games released in the last few years have used it extensively. almost all environment work I have done has used tiling textures, trim textures and vert blending on most objects ive made. Space marine, sleeping dogs, socom and splinter cell have all used it heavily. haha just relasized almost every game… -
