Just finished up modeling and texturing this recently and thought I'd throw it on here. I based him off of the Wrath of the Lich King Cinematic. The Polycount is about 57k. It took 2 months to model on and off and about 2 weeks for high poly and texturing.
On the Bioshock inspired lounge you made a wireframe with textures on... and on the ww 2 you made a wireframe without the textures. ^^ And i think at least 2-3 screenshots from diferite angles will draw more attention on it
Radians are another way of measuring angles but they have no units. 360 degrees equals 2*pi radians. The 45/360 = x/(2*pi) bit is just a ratio conversion of 45 degrees to the equivalent radians.
Shots 2 and 3 are definitely looking more ominous :) What res is your skybox at? I feel like I'm seeing pixelation in spots. How closely are you planning to follow the concept in post 2?
nicely done. I like the first 2 shots but after that everything washes together. All i see is brown and blue . It lacks variation but other wise the first 2 shots i do like
You have to make UV set 2 selected as current. In the texture editor menu find and execute the command @Set current UV set@ and type-in "UV set 2" (or actual name it have). It will help.
That means you can choose 1 or 2 of your textures to display on your submission post. If you used 4x2k materials, you could post 1 or 2 of these as texture sheets. Hope it clears it up :)
Yeah I can definitely see devs start to implement their pacing with the 2 hour window. For instance, make the game really pick up and reach a critical point right before the 2 hour window.
Be ready to face the fact you may never get a job in the industry, out of a class of about oh 20-30 2 made it the rest failed and still cannot find jobs. That was 2 years ago
