You can always try to see if there's anyone around that has access to one, students, community colleges, game dev groups and meetups. I've had the opportunity to try different ones out 3 or 4 times without even seeking it out.
Yep, he did it because he promised everyone that the game and all additional content for it would be free until he stopped working on the game, so he keeps that promise for everyone who has bought it so far, and up to dec 20
also remember...SILHOUETTE is so important...remember that and appeal.....i like the idea but if it doesnt bend enough on the side of fantasy, it will end up looking like a deformed human...and that will def not have the right appeal. the idea is cool...a dragon hermit. EXECUTION is key!
i cant wait for mechwarrior living legends to become standalone yuss.. i think crysis has a big opportunity here, to get more serious devs to switch with c++ access. but until they actually release anything this is all just dick waving.
What shapes? You can post them with pictures to get help in 'dem shapes' thread. As for the sculpt then retopo, it's a valid workflow. I don't see a reason (other than modeling it right away saves time) why you couldn't do that. :)
my dear Repete (P Respondek), do you've tested your scripts on modo 801 , because it seems that they didn't work on this release. I got a Py error. I'm glad to sse that you like my improved Pipeline IO Menu ^^
So I didn't manage to finish the last challenge but I'm committing myself to finishing this one. I'll be working on the Viking type warrior guy! PyrZern My critique would be that the head looks a bit too big for the deers body, but good start!
I really like this guy! especially the oversized hands, which I think you handled quite properly. It def would look awesome in a game. I don't see anything wrong with him, tho I am not a character artist. :) Cheers!
Hi there! I have a patreon that I make yesterday, focused on lowpoly 3D models for indie devs or similar. The goal is to give packs of assets for the patreons. https://www.patreon.com/Wakefield Also, I will look your patreons and contribute on some of them :D
I agree with CougarJo, it's looks decent so far. It is ok to wander off from the concept just a bit to make the model look more interesting, however you should def always try to keep the actual silhouette as close the concept as possible.
