You know, I've started getting really bad pains in my mouse hand, also. Mostly my pinky. One thing I've done that's helped a lot was get a stool and place it right next to me by my chair and place the mouse and mouse pad on that. It looks goofy as hell but I don't have to strain my arm or hand to reach the desk. I doubt it… -

just wondering, would it be possible to set up a cube map (ala UT2004) using shaders so that the kind of shading caused by the shell's depth would be more direct when facing the player and then rolling away farther to the edges of the cube map? so that the center was dead on full, and then the outside angled? also the cube… -

Aha! Hooray. What is UV-projection? Are you referring to the normal-mapping option in the Render to Texture Projection Options screen? Is that the thingy which requires both the high-poly and low-poly objects to have the same UV-coordinates? Personally I can't see why I'd use that over the standard Projection modifier… -

lotet No problem! I have yet to check into Zbrush's texturing option. Although I should probably mention that I have Zbrushcore rather than Zbrush so there are some options I dont have. ya know... that 2 part video of me conducting that workshop has been a double edge sword. It has helped a lot of people get an idea of one way to texture, but the school never told me the video would be published online and I'm rather frustrated that the school I am currently working for (AAU) pushed that video online…
