Finally had some time to work with this scene. There are a lot of stuff that I need to do but I´m starting to like the diner so far. My goal is that the scene would run on my low-spec pc @30fps. WIP exterior stuff :)
I think the bake turned out really great actually! Was wondering about the muzzle though. None of your shots have a clear view of it. Should look really dope once you make one of those "Kocon" Texture and spec maps.
Quick update on the CryEngine material. Using 1024 diffuse(spec in alpha), 1024 normal, and 1024 mask for POM. The dirt layer is something that came with the engine, for now. The diffuse is really light in the engine, so I want to go back and adjust the colors.
Yeah, I gotta say, nowhere either here or on the site really explains what exactly your product does. Just a ton of keywords and specs, but nothing to tell me if this would help improve my workflow as an artist, or help in a studio environment.
@gnoop It allows everything you said, and when you said; does it allow corresponding texture channels without doing it one by one. If you meant, can you paint; bump, spec, roughness etc simultaneously, not yet; but that is coming very soon.
Hi, Although I not happy with the result this is the color scheme. C&C are very very welcome. Now I'm moving to the unwrap part to test the new 3d max 2012 features :) Ignore the spec on that : this is just for the color variation in the model, flat shading :
Well I'm glad you're digging the textures on the shield. If you're curious it was simply a matter of bumping the contrast on the diffuse and using it as a spec. I'm working towards improving the scratches and damage. Good luck with the bow edits, I look forward to seeing the outcome.
When you say model do you refer the settings for the project? if so i used this settingsAttachment not found.,then i unchecked metalness box and i was able to create good textures. Specs: Win 8, photoshop CC and the latest quixel version.
I've never seen this before. That's a new one! The first piece of advice I'll give is to ensure that you're running the latest drivers for your 1080. Also, what copy of Photoshop do you have installed, and what are the rest of your system specs?
these are soooo sweet. my only criticism is that the spec is a bit too shiny in the bottom weapons, that might just be the direction you took on those, but having some nice matte surfaces can really complement the shiny parts. Good job over all.
