Of course i submit it, I'm ineligible but I want to share it ^^ On the question thread one dev say if the community like one set, he can pass on the workshop after so I will take my chance with the community.
It's getting super annoying I'm currently saving actions of what I do on a map, and applying it to every single other one Weird no one ever came up with a script, I'm gonna try and ask some dev !
I created a look-dev render of some possible environment materials for my scene. All textures/shaders were created by me, but I got the lighting template from Robby Branham, my Texturing and Shading instructor.
I really liked this piece as i liked your deus ex weapon.Great progress so far. Thanks for the bend tip, that definitely helped me a lot!How many hour did you spend for the hi-poly model?
this is way cool, man! I'm glad you came back to it I agree about the potbelliness/beltline. I'd love to know how you did dem rox :) and are you gonna continue them down the back some?
This is the knife but I dont like a lot of things about it... The handle, above all, the wire should have been thiner and the bone would need more work... I should have sticked with the original deer bone maybe...
That article seems more about concept artists than game artists in general. Maybe not as much as they deserve, but concept artists do get a lot of attention already, moreso than most other members of a game dev team.
I like your deer fella a lot. Though I can't help but feel a standing position may be better for a presentation shot, since his jumping pose has his (front) limbs looking pretty noodley.
Giving this post a quick bump to let everyone know I'll be streaming my first Game Dev Daily tonight at 6:00PM PST! Come and join me and others while I model the crap out of that mech!
I never asked for permission to do art based off someones concepts. I never really thought about it. However, from now on, im def gonna do that. Thx guys! Also, this thread is particularly entertaining.
