Its to much rock mate! I would say that you should make the rock-wall less defined to make it pop less as in your concept. The stairs are great though, and I think you have caught the shapes of the building well. Maybe make the window a bit more wonky and playful? Either way good job so far, and good luck.
Blacker head more defined muscles to make it look strong and a different cloth I think would all help it look better. Cloth that hangs alot lower and is like a wrap around thing. Bigger gold behind his head and maybe a pendant/ankh around the neck. Colours much more saturated too. Egyptian things are flashy and colourful.

good start. try to simplify the anatomy more, there are a few spots which are too anatomical and lose atm, try to define the seperate surfaces a bit more also make sure you have clean lines, the inner ear is pretty wobbly (also a bit too detailled) the hair lines have a lot of wobbles, try to make everything flow more

Looks like a good start to me! I'm loving The Invincible Iron Man and was surprised when they gave Pepper a suit. My only critique is to bring up a bit more of the mechanical elements. Like around her knees and shoulders are going to have more of the hard edge elements that define the suit a bit more. Can't wait to see…

I tried and I am still trying to incorporate as much of your feedback as possible: The portal room has now a more defined structure, and makes more sense.
