@Syna , I have not made anything highpoly yet, I have just completed the lowpoly. So you tell me there are two options, use vertex normals to emulate rounded edges on the lowpoly or bake the thing per usual to get round edges. I think what he's meaning is that if you look all along the edge of the models arms for example, you see a long straight line. Would for example all the elbow loops be removed you wouldnt notice the difference if the wireframe wasnt visible. The picture example he provided also gives a good example of what you should be… -

lol HP ...shut up! i'm transitioning from xsi to 3ds. so i took it into xsi and used "reduce polygon" as people were saying i should stay away from polycruncher. i always thought low poly work was about saving polys. so thats why alot of the lines end up on the same point/vert i guess i have to not be so tight! on another… -

Yep. System is mostly competent, although my single core Athlon 64 4000+ is getting pretty long in the tooth. Got an 8600 GTX to power the graphics and 3Gb of DDR2 400 for the memory (again, a little archaic).
