The forums are still undergoing a full revamp internally. It's expensive in time and money for a free forum to undergo such a large upgrade but we should get more information in the future about it when they are ready. There are a few threads you can search for, for more information :)
TO ANYONE WHO MAY ENCOUNTER THIS PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE! I tried several things and made many attempts to fix this issue. In the end the only thing that worked was installing a clean version of maya. So uninstall re-install or get the next version.
@devingeesr Yeah i didn't see those in blender XD. but i know how to avoid that in the future. You model looks really cool! You could try using a sharpening filter on the texture, i think it could benefit from it.
I like the idea that there are candles and a tile floor in space. It's not very practical in terms of how we see space, but In the far future, they are going to want to take some of their home and life with them into space. Not everything is going to be a plastic/steel tech-fest.
I had to use mari for some 16k textures and I found it lacking a lot that substance painter and quixel have, seems like they are getting a lot of new stuff in the future, but if you are staying in 8k or lower I wouldn't go mari
Thank you again, you manage to clarify every doubt i had. =) <Side note> I didn't even knew that texture array was a thing, I thought that it was all done in a 'messy' material; Good to know that Epic will implement it in the future.
Personally I used max for years and started using modo and I am infatuated with it, makes max feel to me like abandonware, it by no means is perfect and some thigns are way more fiddly then max but in my mind it is the future without a doubt.
thank you for the critique , yeah alot of my friends tell me about the lighting , the values isn't correct , I'm planing to redo it in the future ,thanks for do this image it helps alot to understande the problem thank you again for the your time :)
This is incredible! I really love this piece. It came together beautifully! The only crit i woul dhave for future projects is just have a stronger sense of material definition. Everything on your vehicle looks very matte. Solid solid work!
@Eric Chadwick Haha yeah, spotted that after linking the thread so not that useful an example. Ah cool, I never thought of using the Flag button for that, may well give it a go in the future if I stumble upon something useful
