I actually do it the same way, saves nerves especially when working with others who reimport stuff incorrectly etc. This is where I regularly long for less cumbersome viewport display of vert colors / alpha in Max, but alas. Fixed. Yea it ended up being the Logitech settings. I guess they default when making a profile. It had the scroll button (aka middle mouse button) set to Zoom..and at first glance that seemed right..seeing how you zoom and scroll with it. My problem with hulks face is that it is way to narrow. Hulk always had a very wide face - aka big distance between eyes and wide jaw and such. Even Eric Banner had a wide face... Another downside is that its fairly expensive as far as sculpting clay goes... Also its poisonous, and makes your hands feel gritty and kinda nasty until you vigorously wash them. Agreed ebagg... I play TF2 daily and keep looking at the art and haven't got bored of it, it still surprises and impresses me. I know a lot of people like to wank over it and I'm no different, but it really was solid. Max doesn't support 8bit transparency, ala GIF's palette 0 color. I guess 8bit PNG uses the same method? Also, in the Opacity slot you have to set the radio buttons to the left of the Image Alpha section to mono/alpha (or whatever they're called).
