Finished the sofa sets. It can take any seamless pattern, you can adjust the tiling, pattern rotation or choose to use plain color. Putting it into the scene
Attempted the sofa leather from week 15. Not quite happy with the star patterns under the buttons yet. Thanks to Hugo Beyer for his leather tutorial on youtube :)
Slowly coming together. I just did one of my first explorations into Substance with the propane canisters. I kinda like them! Next up, Substancing the old leather sofa!

First pass on fridge prop, Lebowski rug, color variation added to brick diffuse, more grunge on pizza boxes, tweaked sofa diffuse and spec and new lighting.
your scenes too wide, that's why everything looks slightly out of proportion. Loving the sofa btw, I'm sure it will stand out allot more once you have the scene resized.
I haven’t posted in ages - been a pretty rough couple of weeks I must say. However, things are coming together a bit more now. On to the sofa and chairs next I think

The tool i was talking about is referred to as proportional modeling in The gnomon DVD by Vitaly Bugerov (I think that's right...) but may in fact be something else in XSI itself- and yes, it's basically an interactive soft select.
