Well... it IS vertex paint. It stores a colour value at each vertex of the model. It doesn't go any deeper than that. I'm not sure what you're expecting to happen...?

I am trying to move the vertex along the world direction but I think the gizmo is facing the normal direction. How can i change it back to world direction??
I set up a vertex paint shader following the UDK Modular Masterclass from Eat3D and yeah it doesn't work. the problem is I can't seem to paint on to my mesh.
I've been wondering - if I have 2 different UV sets (one for texture, one for lightmaps) will the one for lightmaps affect vertex count too? I think it should but I'm not sure... Can anyone clear this matter for me?
