That is freaking awesome dude! So glad you got the gig. I loved your reel at your screening, so it's definitely good to see you got in somewhere. Congrats!
you can try doing a dot with cam vector and the normal, if that doesn't give a good falloff you could use a texture that uses coordinates from cameraworldposition that's screen aligned.
this is awesome! Rendering an environment in marmoset is an interesting choice, I've only ever used it for individual model showcases. Also, what's the big red thing in the middle of the screen? Blaster bolt?
The texture size seams a bit high for the amount of detail you currently have and the amount of screen space the knife would ever use in a game. Would go for a 512 or 256.
That last screen shot was really awesome. All of it was awesome. Great job! The mood just kicks your ass for the first few minutes :P I love that night scene.
This is the high LOD, so it would be viewed close to the screen. I just thought that the modeled folds would make a difference at a close range, correct me if I'm wrong though.
I'm a big basketball fan and i'll whoop anyone of you foo's in some nba live 95! Btw, these are awesome screens, and I'm a big fan of the EA BIG series.
I think you need a stronger light source on your beauty render. It looks good but a bit too dark on my screen. The eyes and the teeth look especially nice.
yeah it was the most satisfying thing in the whole universe to get your sword to take up half the damn screen and just obliverate everything in its path. that game was something special.
