Oh boy, I sure did take my time with this. I finished it with pretty much the substance painter basics. I'm gonna have to keep looking for a more stylized approach to Substance in the future. Marmoset Viewer on my ArtStation
as an european I have moved my wii into the closet and will start planning my wonderful future with the 360 and ps3,.. haha.. it's so sad, just add six months to each wii title and you have your european release
Thanks EmAr, I appreciate the kind words! I'm hoping to start working on some more detailed props in the near future. It's easy to get stuck creating nothing but buildings, seeing as this map needs so many custom ones. :)
I have no doubt that with a little more time you guys could blow the doors off of this and that could be hard to do, its really awesome. I really look forward to seeing what you guys crank out in the future.
you are welcome,- might be a good choice for the future though to dynamically detect any temporarily and writable paths- I had about just the same issue in TexTools i.e for writing images to the clipboard for which I need temporary files.
Uggg. That is exactly what I *didn't* want to hear. Time to start nagging my future studio to get me a max license. I would sooner give up basically any other feature than constrain to edge.
That would be awesome - looking forward to it! On a related note: Transformers: War for Cybertron is completely sold out at my local Future Shop and Best Buy (PS3, XBox 360, PC) - they still have a couple of Wii and DS versions left.
So you need something that will work from your computer? Or a webhost? I know with PHP, you can make a pretty simple interface for something like that... at least you should be able to. I'm assuming this is for your future class?
I echo the "ho-hum" on the designs, I think even our near-future army uniforms look a bit cooler than some of the stuff in these screens. They are very well pulled off no doubt. I'm looking forward to the game!
Seriously though, I'm thinking of starting to learn Blender myself. Microsoft are trying to pass laws here to make it legal to spy on everything your computer has, so I think going the open source route is the way of the future.
