what a nice surprise, I haven't looked for a long while here and it really developed into something i hoped for. Very nice atmosphere - me wants to see moar screens :)
You totally nailed the miyazaki mood :) I would be reaaaally interested to see more "behind the scenes" screens of those environments you made! Really good job abyway !
the game is played on the same web browser, and the maximum size of the game screen is 800x600. Thread believe this, would have to be located at the "Pimping and Previews" section of the 3D & 2D Videogame Art?
some screens of my props in UDK. Everything seen here is mine accept for the wall textures which are from UDK, i am just using them as fillers for now.
great... not a fan of the cloth over the screen right part of the face - feels a bit too obtrusive and straight, sort of detracts from the face especially that his fingers point to it too
Top pic didn't load. Looked at screen for about 10 seconds before saying "Well... How the hell does that fit on a weapon?". Top pic loads. Feels stupid.
Atmospheric scattering can be handled in a number of ways, but it's often handled either in the material in the skydome, or as a post process effect. The latter tends to be screen space only but ultimately more effective.
This was my personal GOTY for 2011 so congrats on shipping such a kick ass game! Love the look of the levels in this thing. I must have over 100 screen shots at this point...
Posted some wip screens of this character a while ago and finally got around to putting her into unreal. The clothing is still work in progress but the face and hair is close to being done.
