wow thanks. But important question - does this node, or other work SIMULTANEOUSLY the same on all maps (diffuse, spec, displacement, normals etc,ú at the same time? And all the changes are IDENTICAL across all the maps? (thank you! :-) )
Ambient Occlusion in UE4 already affects specular properties. That's not to say you couldn't still do it. It'd just be pushing the boundaries of whats realistic and correct. You'd also probably not want to do it only in the spec, but roughness as well.

I like how the head turned out, lots of personality! for spec reference check out hazardous's textures on his rubi malone character; it's a great example. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1412038&postcount=20
@jp3d & cholden: Thank you guys @Ehsan Gamer: Thanks man, yes I'm using Max and 3point shader. Pardon my newbieness but how would I go about multiplying the spec with the reflection cube map?
Coloured gloss can give depth to the dynamicness of materials' colours - something like a pearl grip on a gun is impossible to do properly without both coloured spec and gloss. It's more useful than you would think :P
@citizen_j - Thanks! As for the thigh I'll look into tweaking some things and seeing how it goes :) Here's an update. Got some clean up to do and break up some of the perfections. Still have the spec and gloss maps to do.
I agree with bugo and easterislandnick. It looks nice so far, but you could definitley push it a lot more ;) One thing which comes to my mind is that everything looks really flat (normal map? spec maps?)
I can't draw to save my life, so I usually make realistic scenes and props because I can make them to spec. If you're artistic, you could probably get into stylized pretty quick.
A better comparison would be The BMW M3 VS the New mustang GT 5.0.. Same power, same 1/4 mile times.. very similar 'specs' but 2 very different prices and 2 very different groups.
