I use gimp for exactly one feature, you can define a brush as in image file with colour. Photoshop still doesn't support brushes except as grey scale alphas. It's a real pain brining a psd into Gimp just to paint some trees and other props on to paint overs. I wish Photoshp would just add that feature already. -

Yeah, I didn't expect much but I had to stick something up :P Will definately edge up gonzilla, and I simplified the very end of the trumpet, will try a little more and see how it looks! The caracter wasn't planned to be there from the start, and I think I will remove her and put her in her own picture. The thought was to practice environments, not characters so I think that will be the best for both the picture and me… -

Also...your topology exists to support animation deformation & texture usage. Not just to define the shape of the model. I'd recommend rigging & skinning some things. Take those pants...rig & skin them. See how badly they deform...then retopo the "right" way and see how well they deform. This will be a major lesson in the… -
