Im about 2 years out now, i have had some freelance jobs and minor studio jobs. I practice everyday or try too and i started my own thread to get a job on polycount to develop even more. I have a crappy job for now whil i keep working and i may try an indie game -

Sorry, based in Australia at the moment, I have some professional freelance expierence, I have had 2 potential jobs overseas in Canda but they haven't been willing to look at me because I am foreign worker. I can get a visa if I had a job offer, but they would only be able to offer a job if I had the visa already. -

They ended up not hiring anyone for the position and trying to cover their needs with freelance work. I added my name to their list but apparently they had 2 other guys they typically work with. No biggie, it was a fun exercise to go through and it was good practice for if/when I get a game job interview. Thanks everyone… -

The limitations make no sense to me. The point of an indie license is to give small timers access to tools they would either ignore or pirate otherwise not to lure them into purchasing the license for AAA price. I may be more of a freelance anime artist, but I have a tip for you: Your Jed-8 is better as simplistic as Samurai Jack, color and design-wise, no need to elaborate too much detail through normal maps. -
