Hey guys, So my computer has officially died. I had it for about 3 1/2 years and it treated me good but alas, I need to get a new one. I want to get a computer that will be good enough for me to play/work on next gen games. Can anyone help? I'm no good at figuring out what I need. -
Maya Rigging/Physics Problem
I have a fully rigged character, and I'm trying to set their mesh as a 'Passive Rigid Body' in the dynamics (aka FX) shelf. When I try though, it just pops us with this error saying '//Error: line 0:' Is there any way to work around this? If not, can someone drop me a tutorial on how to do a chain rig for a character?… -

Thanks for the fast reply Farfarer. After messing about with the specular this is what I have got so far. And this is the Specular Map Aah I think I know what you are speaking off, Should I edit my specular map to create the gloss maps? and if so, How? Thanks again everyone for all the feedback. -

Aah so that's why it didn't look good when I used handplane, because I needed to untick explicit normals. Works perfectly! Thank you guys! <3 What do I need to do with my smoothing groups when using handplane? Handplane also seems to flip the blue channel in some areas -

loads of nice details in there. great modeling and sculpting but to be honest i think the silhouette is a bit lacking. seems like he's meant to look chunky and beefy but it looks a bit off to me. maybe its the waist that that could be a bit wider to work better with the rest of the proportions. aah well its probably a bit… -
