And a 25 min speedpaint with topic by my generator. 25 min. Turned out to be "a wounded professor extracts in a glaucous bar (theme black and white) First the plan was to make him bleeding but I settled for a broken heart lol :P
well, i for myself make a mask for the decal, white what i want to be seen and black unseen, and plug it to the opacity mask slot (have to set the blend mode to masked). dunno if im doing it wrong, but works fine for me
This looks really good. The only critique I have is the color on the heels. It all blends together and feels very flat. Some type of gradient or pattern perhaps would make it feel more 3d as opposed to 100% one color.
I think the genre it belongs in is known as "awesome" (to those of us trained in the finer points of filmography, that is) just got back from seeing it... I saw the mutherfucking shit out of that motherfucking movie god bless snakes, and the planes they're on
http://www.flickr.com/photos/26816223@N03/4363062455/ I hope this worked. This was a quick study. About 15 min. I'm trying to find a system of coloring, and blending that I find enjoyable as I digitally paint. C&C welcome.
Loving it when a GD thread becomes TechTalk! Good info guys, thanks! So would it all mean that, since full transparency alpha blending is hard to pull off in a deferred engine, alpha to coverage is then a very good substitute?
Damn some of those made my eyes bleed... LOL They are huge. There are some really good links in there for figure drawing, I wish I had a this link about six years ago. Yes I'm being serious. Alex
So basically, if you get shot in the neck and you're about to bleed to death, they can sort of "freeze" you, and then repair you, and bring you back to life after surgery? Sounds like one huge medical advance to me.
Bake first, transfer as colour map later. Do two bakes: one with a floor and one without and blend 50/50. Make the spread as wide as possible, and play with the falloff (not max dist) to get a more XSI like one.
Mun Tree All. Home of the videogame tax breaks. Makes me wonder how long it's gonna last. I have trouble believing the province that bleeds the most money in Canada, can maintain a 50%+ subsidy on salaries. D:
