This is making the workflow more tedious since adjusting tiling on the fly is a very practical feature when testing various materials so is there any hope you will put it back in?
Thanks! Yeah, I just made a simple design for me to practice fur and better texture+baking. Kind-of rushed it as well, didn't spend much time on the concept.
Quick question Shem, did you create the terrain inside UDK? I'm about to start working on a scene and I've never really done terrain in a practical way.
Ok, i understsnd. And may I please try to make model from your concept, but not for workshop or something, but for practice, because I am noobie in 3D modeling?
Use 3ds max and practice with 3d coat. It really quick for concept and create some holes, but after conversatiom from voxel to polygons mesh looks not good for decimation :(
I wasn't sure if I wanted all sides to look the same in the beginning. It was also to practice fitting many uv coordinates in the same bitmap. But I will remember for the future!
I honestly would focus on the planes of the face and planes of the body. Practice sculpting these and then sculpt towards this then smooth out the planes and sculpt in the muscles, fat, skin ect ect.
