Tectonic Thanks for the crit :) I think the arms is pretty long in the concept but I may end up shorten them maybe a bit. Zolizzo Thanks dude yeah I agree the uppertorso was just to slender so I gave it more of a width now tho I may end up pushing it even more. I enlarged the size a bit on the head tho I kinda like it…
Wow, this thread really came back from the dead. Mudbox is great for: Texturing & UI I wouldnt use it as a primary sculpting tool. Even Blender does a better job at sculpting now and can reach higher polycounts as well (and its free). Then you have to deal with autodesk... so far zbrush updates are free and substantial.…
Chugging along! Since the last update I have implemented: A rope bridge Side Ladders Lookout Tower Wood Support Beams Lots of UV mapping! Alright so I am just doing a quick update, I will definitely be working on it more, in order to get everything done on time. Unfortunately with work and all that I haven't been able to get as much done, but one step at a time. I am also a bit intimidated from all these amazing pieces of work that I have seen, but I am…
Update - Apologies for the lack of updates! Its not that I havent been working on it, but ive actually redone a large portion of this section as I really wasnt happy with it. It didnt feel right, so I redid it with a more industrial art deco style in mind. Ive added strengthening supports to the glass, a hand rail, opened…
SaferDan: Thnx. grantthompson: Ok. So the hardest thing, is to not worry about typology in first stage :D Only masses and proportions matters. When u are satisfied with result, its time to retopo. Try to find every triangle and change it to 4-5 gons and the most important, in every change in mesh remember about about…
