I want to say Sword in the Stone, because I know merlin has that bag of magical goodness, though I can't think of anyway that it's attached to The Corpse bride, other than the fact that Mr. Burton used to be an animator for Disney.
Day 5 Just practicing to get a likeness on a stylized/cartoon character made from head but disney inspired. I've had a little break on sculpting just a couple of days. But today i'm back on to work on the problems highlighted in the comments.
Thanks Marlfox. Yeah. The left concept is a bit regal. And maybe a bit Disney now I come to think of it. Anyway. Will keep trying different hair do's. Heres this mornings quicky. Starting to play with textured brushes. Time:30mins
Whoah! Thats awesome! My older brother got to go see that before it was released with the director & cast. My Grandfather worked on the animatronics for Disney (both in features, and at the theme parks). Heck, he may have done the animatronics for Max!
I watch Cartoon Network, Nick, and Disney Channel a lot. still the same amount of Awesome to Crap ratio there has always been. to quote Ferg from the Reading/Leeds Festival thread: "welcome to getting old everyone". :poly142:
little update hehe. heh, looks like the fat dude's wearing belle's gloves! (from beauty and the beast one of the coolest disney movies ever created, duh.) that's silly. damn the length on the little pincher things are off, sigh..
[ QUOTE ] "What kind of a garden did you come from?" [/ QUOTE ] I know I've heard this before, and I'm almost certain it's from Disney's animated Alice in Wonderland. Definitely seems like a question that Alice would be asked.
haha, I'm sure they're swin trunks. Looks like fun, especially comparied to my shitty Michigan weather... I hope you fall over that edge :P Actually, I'll be in Florida this Saturday for a week in Disney World.
started work on the sword used by mulan, in the Disney film of the same name i wanted to update the weapon a little to make it a bit more 3d, i happened across a painted edit which did just that, this is what i used for the main bit of refrence
The art style on this is soo inspirational, can't believe I have only seen this till now. I think you hit the nail on this perfectly, the birds are a nice addition to the scenery too, reminds me of the old Disney animated birds from Bambi!
