If a product is faulty whithin the first month or so I'd always send it back to the seller for a replacement or refund. -

6 months isnt a big deal, after a few years you will want to replace the thermal paste. -

Spilled coffee on my keyboard a couple weeks ago. It was unfortunate. Luckily it was the school keyboard and a replacement was free!
